Healing touch Reiki must be experienced to be understood. Reiki is healing energy and it is also a form of holistic complementary therapy.
It is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on healing technique for balancing and re-connecting of the body, mind, emotions, and soul.
Healing occurs on many levels. We are complex beings, much like a diamond that is multifaceted and multidimensional.
Receiving Reiki has many benefits for our Being. From stress relief to gentle work on our subtle body, the seven chakras, aura, our neurology, and deeper cellular structures of the physical body.
Many people experience a sense of deep peace and relaxation after receiving Reiki healing. This is because the Universal Energy flows through the body, dissolving some of the tension held in structures of the muscles and organs.
If you receive a healing session one day, you may experience peace and relaxation. There is an opening in your body. This opening creates more opportunity for change. And this change comes from within you.
So, even if you have received a Reiki healing session from a healer, the true healer is YOU. A healer may help open up channels in your body, direct the Universal Energy to your body, but in the end, it is You, your own Self, that does the actual work of healing and transformation.
All healing is transformation. From one energy state to another. It is movement of energy. If you are curious about Reiki healing, find a local practitioner and experience a session. Notice what it feels like in your body. Stay present to the sensations in your body, images and thoughts in your mind. Just be open and curious. Without judging anything as good or bad. Simply being open and allowing what is.
You can also experience Healing Touch Reiki by giving yourself a self healing session. I truly believe that we are our own healers and with that in mind, I would like to encourage you to believe in yourself, believe that you have everything you need within yourself.
Staying open and curious to whatever changes are occurring within your body, mind, emotions, and soul allows for the flow of energy through the layers of beliefs, long held tensions, and the feeling of being stuck. Allowing what is in the moment, helps the energy to flow through the physical body. And with that process, healing occurs.
